Photo CD
The easiest way to backup your photos that are stored on a computer is to use a CD. The problem for some is the ease of losing a CD and thus losing the backup to your hard drive. But it is still very convenient to bring to a friend’s place and show off your photos to a friend and is also used by many professionals to show their photos at a convention that they choose not to display in hard copy form. CDs do not, however, offer that much in the way of storage as compared to a USB device that can store 2-3 times more in a much more compact form that uploads much faster than any photo CD will ever be able to. But CDs are cheap and easy to use, thus for the more frugal consumer are excellent ways to backup information.
How To Make Photo Cd
Very simply, you can use an empty CD that is writable. You insert the disk into your computer than copy and paste as much as the CD can hold, or as much as you have to store. But you must remember that your computer must have a CD drive that can burn the contents onto the blank CD. The window should pop up automatically and you simply click on the operation to burn the photos onto your CD, which takes a few minutes depending on the speed of your burner. A good photo CD may talk about the basics like how to set up a camera and where to look for good subjects to photograph. It is also important to realize that not everything can be learned by a photo CD. Find an artist to study and try to emulate their style in a photo CD. This may involve picking up books of their photographs compiled or searching endlessly in local art stores or on the internet to find a favorite artist in a photo CD. Do remember that your CD cannot be used as a tool to delete and put new photos on it; it is permanent. The permanence of a CD make it less convenient to use, but CDs are so cheap and if you plan ahead with the desired photos on each CD you should be able to successfully upload the photos you wish at any point. Of course you will want to remember to label the CD appropriately given the contents of the photos on the CD. Try to concentrate the contents of the CD into one particular event so that you know which CD is which.
