Stereo Or 3d Cameras
Stereo Camera
A Stereo Camera is a camera that has two lenses and the stereo camera is also known as a 3D camera. The reason the stereo camera is also known as a 3D camera is because the camera does have two lenses and it creates human binocular vision and thus creates a 3D effect. These kinds of cameras are used to create 3D pictures and 3D videos. However, the Stereo Cameras are mostly used for 3D movies. If you cannot afford a stereo camera, there is a way to create the same effect using a regular camera. Take two pictures of the same object, but move the camera for the second picture a couple of inches to the right or left. When this picture is edited, it can be edited so that each eye sees a different thing creating the 3D effect without all of the expensive equipment. However, it does seem much easier just to purchase the stereo camera itself instead of relying on editing to do the work that there are several cameras out there designed to do. There several options that you can choose from when deciding to purchase a Stereo Camera. There are also a couple of specific cameras that you should look into before purchasing a Stereo or 3D Camera.
Nishika 3D Camera
The Nishika 3D Camera is fairly popular in the 3D camera world. The reason the Nishika was fairly well know what that the Nishika 3D camera can take photos that are multi-layered and color. However, many problems resulted from this. It was difficult to be able to find the camera to do that work and even if the camera was found, it was difficult to find someone who would develop the film. Because of this reason, the Nishika Camera is no longer made. The owners of this camera would have to specifically find a seller or carrier of this particular kind of camera in order to have their film developed, or worse, their camera worked on if something went wrong. Unfortunately, in 1994, the Federal Trade Commission accused Nishika of telemarketing and credit card fraud which forced them into bankruptcy.
