Video Slide Scanners & Viewers

There are several different kinds of video slide scanners and viewers. Most slide scanners are used for 35mm slides to insert and view on screens. These are an older way to view slides, pictures and information, but there are still several ways to purchase these slide scanners. Many office supply stores may stock these kinds of slide scanners; however, you may not find exactly what you want. Shop around to find the type of slide scanner that you want. If you are shopping for a slide scanner for a specific purpose, such as you found some old film while cleaning out the basement or the attic, you might want to travel to meet someone who works with slide scanners often. That way they can tell you exactly the type of slide scanner you need to have to view your film. Do research on the Internet and ask around to friends and parents. Since slide scanners are less prominent than they used to be, even though there are still modern versions being made, some people that used to use them would be of great help.

Slide Viewers

There are many similarities among slide scanners and slide viewers. They both take film and project them to a different place. The difference with the two is that the slide scanner can only read and project 35mm film. The slide viewers are bigger and can hold multiple amounts of different sized of information. However, since the slide viewer is not as specific as slide scanners, it may not work as well as you might want it to.

Video Scanner

Video scanners are much different from slide viewers and scanners. Video scanners are meant to detect wireless video signals and see what they see on a small screen. There are several different accessories that can accompany a video scanner. There are also several different kinds of video scanners that you can purchase, but they all have the same purpose. To purchase a video scanner might take a chunk of change out of your pocket, but be sure to research what you want well before you purchase. This way you will pay for what you get and there will hopefully not be any surprises. Buy from a reputable website if you decide to look on the Internet to purchase, and if you decide to purchase at a store, the same holds true. Always make sure that you are comfortable with the price that you are paying and the quality that you are paying for.
